Anthony R. Young, Sr. 50 of Danville passed this life on Wednesday July 18, 2012 at Carle Foundaion Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. He was born on December 12, 1961 in Danville. He is the son of Archel C. Young, Sr., and the late Willie Pearl Young. He was a wonderful caregiver who took good care of his father Archel C. Young, Sr. He attended Danville High School and served in the United States Army. His hobbies included spending time with family, drawing, and cooking. He leaves to cherish his father Archel C. Young, Sr., of Danville; and his two children, Brittany Young of Dallas, Texas and Anthony R.. Young, Jr., of Danville; two grandchildren, Monroe Young and Roy Newell; two sisters, Alice Young-Hardy of Shreveport, LA and Rebecca Young of Danville; and three brothers, Richard Smith of Danville, Archel C. (Paula)Young, Jr. of Danville, and Mark Young (Anna) of Middletown, CT. He was proceeded in death by his mother and sister. Memorial service will be at 10:00am. Thursday July 26, 2012 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 304 E. Williams Danville.
